Here’s a workout with the Bosu Ball and Arc that will get your weeks started on the right track.

One of my favorite of all things to do when it comes to training is mixing and matching pieces of equipment. In this situation, I take the challenge of stability on a Bosu Ball and mix it with the challenge of horizontal resistance with the arc.     I am a 58 year old man that used to be a decent athlete in my early days. Building a business and raising a family has taken a real toll on my physical appearance and my health. I have tried the gyms, the diets and the crazy at-home equipment and nothing has helped me regain a solid, powerful body. Clearly, my lack of discipline is at the heart of my problem. I blame no one but myself. However, I have not found a single training professional that truly has a clue on how to address my issues. What I have seen on your website as it relates to functional training makes more sense than anything that I have ever seen.

    I need your advice. How do I start a functional training regime? What are the appropriate exercise routines for me to get the ball rolling and to keep it rolling? Whatever guidance you provide to me, I will faithfully execute on it. I want to get my life back. Just give me some direction.

      Hi Joe,

      What I always tell people if they’re looking to get regimented is to start from a foundation of clarity. My human foundations video series is the basis for all human movement and it’s essential if you want to instill discipline. I don’t think you have a lack of discipline at all, especially if you’re proactive enough to build a business, i just think your body is not responding because you have not done the right things so far. Movement itself is something that your body should want to do, not something you have to tell yourself to do. The human foundations series makes moving a natural cycle of your everyday life because it teaches you to release the restrictions keeping you from moving. Remember, the closer you are to not moving means the closer you are to death.
