It’s been a process having to correct all the imbalanced movements Dean Lister has developed over the course of his career, but I will say that his functional training regimen is coming together quite smoothly.
The main setback we have had in his training is covering the aspect of weight distribution. Throughout my career, I have noticed that people tend to improperly find their center and distribute their weight in the wrong place, because of the imbalances they create in their lifespan. With Dean, the years of wear and tear in his MMA and grappling training and competition (without corrective re-alignment) have left him with many innately dysfunctional patterns, inhibiting the strength of his center of gravity.
