In this video, I decided to mesh two of my favorite pieces of equipment together for an extremely functional workout. I like the Cables for the ability to train rotation, and I like the Kettlebells because of the pendulum action involved while using it.
Although these two exercises shown hit every muscle in the body, I use them for this specific purpose:
Pendulum Squat Row – As functional of movement as you can possibly do. This exercise is great for the development of power in the glutes and lats as they work contralateral fashion.
Shield Cable Punches – This exercise works the opposite chain of muscle groups, mainly the contralateral engagement of the Obliques and Adductors.
