In all of the years I have been in the fitness industry, I am yet to find anything out there that critically breaks down the principles of an effective gait pattern.

Over the last 3 months, it has been my mission to understand this super complex system of movement. It is something people do every single day of there life, yet we never think about it while we are doing it. I have found that implementing proper gait awareness is crucial for any functional training regimen, as it translates to the majority of movement a human will do in their life.

Training gait effectively has been crucial for the athletes I train, along with the people I see who are in pain (specifically people with lower back pain). If the movement you do most throughout the day is dysfunctional, it’s only matter of time before that movement pattern puts gets you in trouble.
