The swing ball is one of my favorite tools to progress my advanced clients and fighters to. It is great for the development of relaxation in the upper body, while developing strong static core stability. One of the most important aspects of health and athletics is to remain relaxed while under major stress. A commonality I tend to find with many new clients is the tendency to shrug and tighten the wrong muscles in the upper body and neck, when attempting to coordinate the upper and lower body during an exercise. This is usually what freezes a person into poor posture and one of the primary reasons as to why people get neck and shoulder issues. Stress + Tension = Inefficiency. This specific piece of equipment, while advanced, can be very helpful in correcting the problems just mentioned. On top of that, it can really kick your butt!!!
