Practitioners Policy

After qualifying as Human Foundations Practitioner (HF):

  • Can state they are a ‘Functional Patterns Human Foundations Practitioner’ on their instagram account. This can only be stated on the Bio section of their Instagram account and not the Name or User name
  • Prohibited to do the following:
    • Use logo as their display picture on facebook or instagram
    • Using the FP logo to make apparel, clothing, business cards, flyers, documents, use within a non-FP gym and for self advertising purposes
    • Create a FP instagram, facebook or youtube social media account

After qualifying as a Human Biomechanics Specialist Level 1 (HBSL1):

    • After completing HBSL1, participants will have to open a compulsory Functional Patterns instagram account. FP Facebook page can be opened if desired, but is not compulsory
    • Prohibited to do the following:
      • Using the FP logo to make apparel, clothing, business cards, flyers, documents, use within a non-FP gym and for self advertising purposes

Social Media Account Rules:

  • Functional Patterns instagram account name will be in the following format:
    • FPNAME, FP_NAME, FP.NAME
  • Functional Patterns facebook page names will be in the following format:
    • FPNAME, FP_NAME, FP.NAME
  • Cannot publicly state that they (person qualified) are a certified HBS practitioner on their
    own business or personal social media pages which are not FP owned accounts
  • You can only list that you are an FP HBS practitioner on your FP social media account
    which are licensed to you by FP
  • Social media accounts, Instagram, Facebook are licensed to you by FP
  • If you leave FP as an educational institution, the social media account/s previously
    licensed to you will be returned to FP and then deleted. Accounts must be returned to FP
    and cannot be renamed.
  • If you are doing yoga, pilates, crossfit, olympic lifting, powerlifting, any forms of
    traditional weight lifting, acrobatics and calisthenics, and you share this content on your
    regular business page, you are not allowed to reshare any FP material on your page
  • If a practitioner wants to apply for a state/city/town or country representation, their results
    and competence would have to be assessed by FP. Application can be made by
    emailing FPPolicy@Functionalpatterns.com
  • Geographical location social media accounts will have practitioners associated to them.
    Practitioner running the account will be identified in the bio/description of the account.
  • It is optional for practitioners who are associated with geographical location accounts to
    set up their own personal FP account.
  • Practitioners shall not share, disclose or make available FP methods and techniques
    online BEFORE any such methods and techniques are officially shared, disclosed or
    made available online by FP.
